Water supply longitudinal profile

Brief description

The Water supply longitudinal profile module is used for defining, creating, modifying, calculating and drawing longitudinal profiles of water distribution pipes according to the detailed design requirements of the ÈSN standard.

The Water supply longitudinal profile program allows selection from a wide range of scales, user specified cultures, specification of various types of capital assets, user specified definition of the reference level, change to pipe slopes directly in the main menu, user defined description of operating facilities, etc.

Basic usage

The basic input data for the Water supply longitudinal profile module (x, y, z coordinates) may be entered directly by using the keyboard or the mouse or by reading data from the ROUTE module. The input tables allow the user to enter other information about the project, including the longitudinal profile, including land register numbers, lot numbers, geological drill holes, information about cultures, ground surface information, crossings with underground and aboveground services, information about watermain facilities, pipe material and longitudinal information, and the shape of excavation for the watermain placement.

The output may be obtained in both text and graphical forms. The text output consists of a summary table of all input data and a volumetric calculation of earth works. The graphical output is provided at a scale ranging from 1:5000 to 1:100 and may be exported in the DXF format or plotted or printed directly. The drawings from Longitudinal Profile contains all of the requirements required for project documentation and look similar to the Sewer system longitudinal profile.
